Mineral

Palampores, or "Tree of Life" patterns, have their origins in India, where the exotic designs were hand painted and mordant dyed, and exported to Europe and England for use as elaborate bed hangings and curtains. Pondicherry, now offered as a wallcovering, the colorways remain true to their 90's origins, highlighting the iconic filigree pattern amidst the exotic tree of life motif. The colorways were developed in 2015, with the filigree omitted from the fabric design. These wallcoverings and colorways remain true to the fabric's original design. Intricately detailed flowers and lush foliage accompanied by whimsical birds and playful squirrels add to its timeless appeal. The vertically branching print is perfect for a cozy breakfast nook, kitchen, or powder room.

Ann was born in Enid, Oklahoma, and educated at the University of Oklahoma, with a degree in Interior Design. She moved to San Diego in 1984, where she lives today with her husband and three children. While her artistic impression was constant throughout her life, her recent foray into the art world was developed over the past 15 years of working as a volunteer art teacher for school children at the elementary level. During this time she also worked as the prop, costume, and backdrop designer for the elementary school’s performances and directed the art and talent shows for many years. Now coming full circle, Ann is once again involved in instructing new and aspiring artists on her painting methods. In her commitment to being a green artist, Ann is able to create unique paintings by using recycled materials, finding items of interest in her environment, and using every drop of paint to add dimension to her paintings.

We've had this for about a year now and I have no complaints. If I could do it again, I would just get the basic version without the ledge for the accessories. We almost never use these accessories and the ledge is just something else to be cleaned. It's awkward to use the cutting board because the sink is undermounted to 2cm stone. The knife handle hits the stone when trying to cut on the cutting board. The drying rack could be nice, but it's not big enough for us and we have a dedicated drying rack.. Anonymous. Wed Sep 18 2024
