I absolutely love this paper. Everything about the pattern is so special. I wanted a striped paper that felt updated a subtle - and this is perfect. The color is exactly what I had wanted - whiteoff white and subtle tones of shimmer. It looks great in the bedroom on three large walls and the other wall has Adonea Ares. They blend well together. Raised in Los Angeles, California, D’Alessandro was the youngest of three brothers. When art competition was a form of play for the brothers, it later grew into his obsession. D’Alessandro attended the Art Institute of California where he explored mixing mediums as well as digital. He also attended Illustration, Sculpting, and Fine Art workshops in Fullerton Ca. After spending long periods studying different techniques, D’Alessandro's art became increasingly influenced by artists from the early 1900s. During D’Alessandro’s studies, he painted many different themes. He painted with restless intensity, often painting from morning until night. D’Alessandro was able to indulge his earliest artistic preferences for people, nature, architecture, and landscapes in his illustration and personal pieces. He also painted family, friends, and gardens. He has done commissioned work for a variety of clients in music, publishing, and editorial. His work has been exhibited in numerous private and public collections.

Ann was born in Enid, Oklahoma, and educated at the University of Oklahoma, with a degree in Interior Design. She moved to San Diego in 1984, where she lives today with her husband and three children. While her artistic impression was constant throughout her life, her recent foray into the art world was developed over the past 15 years of working as a volunteer art teacher for school children at the elementary level. During this time she also worked as the prop, costume, and backdrop designer for the elementary school’s performances and directed the art and talent shows for many years. Now coming full circle, Ann is once again involved in instructing new and aspiring artists on her painting methods. In her commitment to being a green artist, Ann is able to create unique paintings by using recycled materials, finding items of interest in her environment, and using every drop of paint to add dimension to her paintings.

Palampores, or "Tree of Life" patterns, have their origins in India, where the exotic designs were hand painted and mordant dyed, and exported to Europe and England for use as elaborate bed hangings and curtains. Pondicherry, now offered as a wallcovering, the colorways remain true to their 90's origins, highlighting the iconic filigree pattern amidst the exotic tree of life motif. The colorways were developed in 2015, with the filigree omitted from the fabric design. These wallcoverings and colorways remain true to the fabric's original design.
