I began stocking the rack as I originally planned but then decided to spice up the variety of media to provide a visual for those looking to store different sized media like I was. Pros - What a cool design! It looks better in person than online. It definitely helped me achieve the look I was going for - It was fairly easily to put together solo, with a little patience. But you definitely need 2 people to safely move it from room to room. - It fit just about ALL of the media I am looking to display. The exceptions being smaller loose cartridges, like SNES (which fit, but did not display well), and Genesis, N64 (which do not fit at all). However, if they include the game boxes, they fit great. Even smaller cases like DS3DS Switch Cons - If media falls sideways, it falls through the support bars, then slides down and falls to the floor. - The divider arms offer very little resistance to prevent media from falling. You can fine tune tighten the support bars closer to each other, which prevents the divider arms from sliding easily, allowing them to serve their purpose better. However, in that state it feels like the divider arms may start scuffing the support bars. Im not sure that this is the case, but it made me feel a bit uneasy. Final thoughts Love it, and I will be buying 2 more! However be mindful of the media falling through the support bars. Again, the support bars can be fine tune adjusted to provide tighter resistance on the divider arms. Or you can be creative with something wider (that wont fall over) and more weight (that adds resistance to sliding) like DVD box sets. I intend to craft clear plexiglass L-shaped shelves to place on the support bars and remove the divider arms. I realize this solution is not for everyone, which is why I am only giving it 4 out of 5.. Anonymous. Fri Sep 12 2025
