Hickory is an excellent choice for furniture due to its innate strength, density, and character. We source our hickory from the American southeast where it is harvested in late fall and through mid-winter when its moisture content is low. From here it is kiln-dried to further remove moisture and the bark tightens around the logs during the process providing a truly beautiful texture, and a time-tested look and durability.

I was really worried about the height of the headboard and if it would fit on the bed frame since I have a platform bed frame. The height of the headboard was perfect. The pillows didn’t hide it. It also fit the bed frame. My only problem was that the width of the bed frame legs are thick so the screws weren’t long enough. Luckily, I had some screws on hand that did work. I can't tell you how happy I am with this cover. It was so easy to put on and fits so well. I have a king headboard that was upholstered and has a slight curve. I was concerned about the fit around the curve and it just molded itself over the curve!
