These doors were perfect. Packaged SO well and good quality. They are very heavy and feel solid. However the description says solid wood… they definitely are not. When I notched out the hinges it appeared to have an mdf core, at least where the hinges go. But that doesn’t bother me. They feel solid and heavy! I replaced my laundry door with this half frosted door, and it is absolutely perfect! It fit perfectly and is not too heavyweight. The frosted glass is perfect for not seeing through the glass at the laundry room. It is a slab door so you will need a handyman to create hinges and a door knob hold when installing. Ordered this door for a bedroom, fits pretty good. When the door arrived it had a little damage but decided to keep it and repair damage. We didn't paint it before it was hung. Love love love these doors. Used them between the master bedroom and master bath. They look great and the frosted glass lets in some light while providing privacy. It was a bit of work for our contractor to set the hardware as the doors are are not prepped for that but we knew that from previous reviews Even with that our local building supply store wanted 3000 for a “custom” door of this design. The door looks nice and works well overall. One thing to note if you’re installing it in a frame with a traditional door stop built into the jamb, it may have trouble closing properly. Installation wasn’t too difficult, but make sure to read the instructions thoroughly before starting.
