We replaced our shallow non-jetted 60 by 60 inch tub with this one which takes up way less space. It is deep and comfortable and there are a variety of ways you can use the jets and lights. I haven't used the aromatherapy part. I especially like that the tub cleans out the jets so water does not sit in the pipes molding. It does NOT have an in-line heater to keep the water warm. There are only 2 minor cons to this purchase: the tub is narrow and a tight fit for anyone pleasingly plump. There is not enough room to flip over and push up and out and the bottom of the tub is slippery. I had safety grit put down and a handrail to pull myself up with. Pros: values, finish, versatility of lights, smells, and jets with multiple settings, pipes purge and clean themselves after use Cons: narrow and a bit short (if you are over 5 feet tall you won't be able to stretch out completely.). Ella’s Laydown 30” x 60” is vacuum formed from a solid acrylic sheet. Under the shell is a stainless steel frame reinforced with multiple fiberglass mesh and gelcoat layers. The frame also has multiple leveling legs that can be adjusted for an easier installation and stronger support. The non-porous material in white gloss finish is easy to clean. The main feature is the unique tempered glass inward swing door with a brushed finish aluminum frame. The sleek door is designed in the center of the tub, which establishes a vertical tub wall and creates a wider interior floor space opposed to that of a standard curvature wall. This, along with a low step-in threshold and textured floors, may reduce the chances of tripping and slipping when standing in, showering, and entering/exiting the tub. The Laydown 30” x 60” comes with our Single 2” Drain with emergency pull up chain, consisting of two 2” outlets and an overflow. Note: The Laydown 30” x 60” does not come with a faucet. The Air Jet Massage System includes an air pump with a 3-speed variable push control, strategically positioned air jets for optimal therapeutic relief, and an auto-purge to maintain an air system free of any build ups. The 30” x 60” has 20 strategically placed air jets that pull in air and blow it into the water to create a gentle, relaxing massage. We chose this model because style wise it is very contemporary and that is what we wanted. As far as a whirlpool bath I give it two thumbs up.
