Love this cabinet. The quality is really good for what it is, and no cardboard for the back. It's hard board with the same white finish as the cabinet. Plenty of parts and even a screwdriver included. I'm an active woman, 75, used to putting things together, and managed it by myself. Just took my time and thought through every step for the best outcome. Everything fit together perfectly, no misplaced holes, etc. I agree with another reviewer that the wheel on the door can be a bit balky, but it's fine and helps keep things balanced. It was surprisingly difficult to assemble, still not super hard but definitely not what I expected from a snap together shelf. So worth it though. Looks great and very solid construction. Would definitely purchase again. Description says real wood and it is real wood not particle or press board. Pine with a baked on finish which looks fantastic. Assembly is simple and the directions are straightforward. Everything aligned perfectly and it took about 45 min to assemble both boxes. We found that attaching and aligning the doors was easier with 2 people. Aligning the doors took some patience but once we got the hang of the hinge adjustment, we got it done.. Robert. It’s a really tall neat shoe storage cabinet. It’s clear, easy to open and close. It can actually hold 40 pair of shoes ( shoes in the pictures are men’s 11 size) or if someone doesn’t like to squeeze them together, then 20 pairs.
