The hardware/the nuts and bolts packet could’ve been identified a little bit easier comparative to the instruction sheet, the fire box itself two of the corners were bent quite a bit, and I had to mechanically re-straighten them out so that parts that needed to be attached to it could be in the holes would lineup properly. I did not want to drill new holes because I thought whatever guarantee I would have perhaps would be nullified and I sure didn’t want to go through the house of shipping it back. Delivery was quick and the package arrived in great shape. I was a bit worried about assembly after reading some mixed reviews, but my 12-year-old kid and I put it together in just over an hour. The instructions were surprisingly clear and straightforward — zero frustration!  The 2-in-1 grill and griddle design is brilliant. Having the option to sear steaks on the grill side while doing bacon, eggs, and smashed burgers on the griddle at the same time makes hosting so easy. The cooking surface is huge! We hosted a neighborhood block party last weekend with over 15 people, and we handled all the food effortlessly without making anyone wait.  The double stainless steel lids feel solid, look sharp, and help lock in heat evenly. Another huge plus it comes with a solid warranty, and the manual clearly lists a direct customer service support line. Easy to install, product is intuitive, and lighting on knobs/under unit are awesome. One element that is lacking is the back hi g design. This unit is designed to be built in, and as such costs 4x what a normal Blackstone unit does. The hinge configuration creates a gap on the back edge which is not an ideal transition to your top. Back hinge placement also causes the front of the lid to wobble a bit when opening and closing. Small detail but big one when building a high end outdoor kitchen.
