I looked long and hard to find a hood like this. The suction of this hood is very good. Cleaning the filters is easy. They are removable and can be washed in the sink. There are three different levels of exhaust suction, even the lowest setting is suitable for most kitchen tasks. I like the brightness of the built-in lights. They have a warm color to them.. I searched for literally hours for a range hood that had a CFM higher than 800, was 36" but didn't have the touch screen controls. I finally came across this range hood option since it was very decently priced. Overall, we are very happy with it especially considering what it costs. Range hoods can get quite speedy. My favorite thing about it is the real buttons! They are placed in a great spot and are super easy to turn off and on. The lights also work wonderfully. It works good getting the smells out. I would say the only con is it is a bit loud, even on the lowest fan but even with that, I would still really recommend this hood. Many viewers complained about the grates coming in a white color and not stainless steel as advertised - please note, they aren't white. The power on the Fotile range hood is excellent. For most cooking, I stay on the first 2 out of 3 fan settings. For high smoke activities such as seasoning a wok or searing steak, the 3rd settings is more than enough to suck up all the fumes. The fan speeds are all pretty quiet.
