Worst dryer I have ever owned and the washer that goes with it is even worse than the dryer. Nothing is ever completely dry after the first cycle AND the clothes come out VERY wrinkled. I have to iron every pair of pants that comes out of there (even dry fit comes out wrinkled) and if I didn't refuse to iron T-shirts, those would need be ironed as well. I live in a very hot desert area where it gets up to 115 degrees in the summer. The old gas range which was also LG and worked very well took so long to boil water and heated up my 1500sqft home pretty good causing my AC to work overtime. This new induction range boils water fast and dramatically reduces the amount of heat doing it. All of my kitchen appliances are LG so I wanted the handle to match my refrigerator and thankfully LG still had the model with the curved handle that matched my 4-year-old refrigerator. I was debating on whether I should get the sleek all digital control model or the old-style knob model and I picked the knobs and I am very happy I did. This induction range heats up so fast and changes temperature so fast that digital controls would be a nightmare. The old school knobs are so easy to reduce and raise the temperature fast. The panel display on the range sometimes talks back to you when cleaning it, but you just have to remind it that you're not cooking now, just cleaning. I'm not able to use my Pyrex coffee percolator on this range, which is too bad, but it's OK- the pots and pans you use have to be appropriate for the technology. And the oven- it's ability to convey information and provide uniform heating is first rate. Nearly 5 year update... I still LOVE LOVE LOVE this range! The wifi feature allows me to start the oven while on my way home from the grocery store, cook baked potatoes left inside it or preheat from the hammock in the backyard. I don't love the air fry feature, I still use a different one. I bought a newer version of this range than a friend had and recommended and am so glad I did.
