When not in use it is flush with the stovetop which helps create a flat seamless flow on the countertop. When we have used it, it works very well. This arrived very quickly and was packaged very securely so it arrived in perfect condition. It's much heavier than I expected, but that's a good thing since you don't want this tipping over. There was no assembly, so from opening the box to getting it going was quick and easy. So far, it works as expected. The remote has a lot of useful functions including turn off and on the lights at night to reduce the brightness for light sleepers. A few things to know beforehand. Temperatures are much easier to contribute than my previous range, and everything I've made in the oven has come out perfectly. If I had to improve anything, it would be two things, I would appreciate dials that were easier to read. The writing on them is small and not hard to see in low light. The other thing is the indicator bell when the oven reaches temperature is faint and it's not as obvious to read when the temperature is reached. But otherwise I love everything about it!
