Now that it's installed, I'm VERY happy with the overall look and quality of the gazebo. It's attractive, sturdy and a nice addition to my back yard. I do feel obligated to give a mild warning to prospective buyers: - When the instructions say 2+ people are required at certain stages they mean it. DON'T do what I did (assembled the posts and beams upside down and flipped it over). Ripped bolt anchors, bent metal, lots of cursing. All fixable but not a good time. - The instructions only include pictures and there were more than a couple times I interpreted them incorrectly . I ended up having to remove and re-install parts after having that "ah-hah" moment . Not the end of the world but it adds time. - Nuts and bolts are made of soft metal. You WILL have lots of stripped bolts if you use a power drill ( a must if you want to speed things up) and are not super careful. Good news is Sojag provides lots of extra parts. But... - Having so many extra parts means you'll constantly second guess whether your missing something; especially since there are holes that don't need anything. This is a larger undertaking than building a dresser but with the right tools anyone can do it. I personally had to poor a concreete slab for the hottub. for the Gazebo itself it took me the weekend to install it with my brothers help. def a 2 man job and I wouldnt expect to instlal it by yourself. Im writing this on vacation so I will have to get a pic when I get home and edit my review later. But IO highly reccomend this to anyone that needs some shade from the sun and has a yard to fit it.. After watching vidoes and reading reviews we took the time to be hyper organized before we started which made it straight forward to progress step by step. Good price and fast delivery. Well packaged and easy to install. Installation was intuitive and took about 10 minutes. Perfect fit and colour match to our Sojag gazebo. It provides decent protection from wind, rain, sun and provides a measure of privacy when the neighbourhood is busy. Thoughtful design includes a well-aligned metal gromet in the corners to pass the fly net hook through to anchor both to the posts. Detached wide velcro straps securely tie back the curtains with, or independantly of, the fly net and can be stored separately without interfering with use of the curtains. Nice touch! I normally don’t write reviews, however, I was so impressed after last nights storm (that I thought for sure all my hard work of putting this together was going to be shattered by the quarter sized hail)…. to my surprise, the gazebo was completely unharmed! I was hesitant when I unboxed this at first thinking it would not last a good size storm. I did anchor to post with the cement screws provided, but cemented the other two inside of outdoor gardening pots. The roof panels seemed like they were simply cardboard covered in plexi glass coating, therefore my hopes were not high for the durability.
