I ordered 2 of these to be used in a bathroom remodel we did. This is the smaller one and we had no problems with it when we installed it. Just follow the instructions, make sure you have the glass turned the correct way; there is a top, a bottom, an inside and an outside which is marked just slightly in 1 area, use the spacers and make sure you seal it so no water gets out! Item arrived and is just as described. It wasn’t too bad to install with two of us. We don’t love the functionality, as it does not keep water off of the floor in the bathroom during a shower. Out of the box, this griddle will NOT fit a Prestige 450, but I found it was easily altered to fit. As it is designed to fit the larger surface area of a Prestige 500, the rear spacer needs 1/4” cut off each side, and a small notch cut (see attached photos). The griddle is also too large front to back, but a couple of self-tapping screws along the back edge and inside the front lip of the barbecue prevent any movement. This griddle is really well made. Being stainless steel, there’s no seasoning needed - just clean with water after use to steam clean any food residue off.
