I bought these tiles to put over my existing mosaic backsplash. It was too costly to rip out and install new, real tiles. Additionally, this is a great way for me to experiment with colors to see how I would like a different pattern/color long term if and when I choose to actually go through the replacement. This took a little bit more time then I expected but overall, it went well and I liked the fact that I could use regular scissors or utility knife to cut the times. The corners were a little challenging but doable. I really like the way they look. You can see in some spots the unevenness of the existing tiles but the variation in the color pattern helps hide this. I chose the green with the existing Fantasy Brown granite.. Christina M.. Ohio. These tiles were such a great solution to easily upgrade our oven backsplash. The installation didn’t go perfectly, but that was due to inexperience on our end. It looks sooo much better than our old stainless steel sheet backsplash. It would be lovely if the tiles were marked with a grid and measurements on the back, as that’s where I had the most issues.
