Calacatta Gray

Luxury shower surrounds for the DIY enthusiast in pre-cut kits for common shower wall sizes. These panels are lightweight, easy to carry, cut and fabricate. Cutting can be done with a skilled saw, angle grinder, jigsaw, etc. To fabricate you can use a Dremel tool, miter, etc. We suggest using Locktite PowerGrab Ultimate adhesive or Boss 125 adhesive to adhere panels to the walls but compatibility to the other substrates might need testing. We suggest using 100% clear silicone to glue the trim to the panels. We suggest applying the adhesive to the panel, applying circle blobs of caulking about 6”-8” apart throughout the sheet. We also suggest applying 100% silicone, about a ¼” continuous bead around the panel's outside edges to ensure a good edge seal and prevent moisture or debris from getting behind the panel.

Love the whirlpool. Didn’t think the light in the tub was important but I do enjoy it. Just read the spec sheet before you buy, it needs two gfi to run the light and whirlpool motor. Aside from shipping issues these tiles are great. They are strong and forgiving of less than desirable walls. Watch the videos and do exactly as they say and installation with be quick and smooth. I used these for my bathtub surround and being 68 doing it alone I was able to do it all myself. I did it in two days mostly because I was hesitant about doing it around the water lines. my plumbing hadn't been touched since at least the 50s and had longer bigger pipes than today. Cutting and drilling out the holes was never a problem. I will say though using a utility knife for anything other than trimming edges is difficult. Luckily I had a small table saw that worked great. Design is exactly as we expected and reinforcement on the underside is significantly better than the shower pans from the big box stores that I looked at. These were easy to break apart, but if you do it with a knife, then when you score it and break it, they don’t always break in a completely straight line, which meant at the seams I did have to do a little bit of caulking with gray caulk to make it look a little bit better. I did accidentally put these at a slight angle, so I’m not sure how long they’ll stay up, but the quality looks pretty decent for the price and has held up behind our coffee maker!. Deanna. I really like the look and it was relatively easy to apply. Once you get the first line straight, the rest went quickly. There is a slight color variation that appealed to me. I wanted a quiet background but not solid or completely boring. It's not tile, but not vinyl either. We were able to score most pieces using a utility knife but used a Dremel to cut around outlets.
