While I don’t think this would be a great mattress for daily use, this was a good mattress for the trundle portion of my kid’s bed. It is slim (in a month, it only expanded to about 5.5”), and it’s quite firm as it obviously doesn’t have room for all the support/comfort layers that a regular width mattress can have. But it fits very well in a trundle bed (even with bedding), is more comfortable than I expected it to be, and is more than fine for occasional use. Your average cheap mattress, definitely much less supportive and not as firm as your typical firm mattress, but as to be expected for the price. Doesn’t fluff up evenly or as nicely as you’d think if you’ve ever bought a quality bagged mattress you know what I mean. Fabric is super loose and not fitted to the mattress and the mattress does get that dipping effect when two people lay on it at the same time. Not the best, but not the worst either. Have slept well on it. It is comfortable. It’s firm but not too firm. I don’t like that the corners sink if sitting on the edge. I wish it had a more sturdy edge. I do not think the mattress expanded all the way to the 12” it is supposed to. I would prefer a more firm memory foam top instead of the pillow top it has.
