Higher CRI ratings indicate how natural the colors look under the light. This product has a high CRI index of 90. That was a critical factor, because, many manufacturers do not list that specifications likely because of lower ratings, which result in less than desirable color accuracy. Most of the 6 inch can lights say 5/6 inch so it leads you to believe that the 5.5 inch listing is for a 6 inch can. But that is inaccurate. They do not fit a 6 inch can.
