This replaced a very similar LG, also with ExtendaVent, which is fantastic. LG installers refused to install and returned it because "it won't fit". It is the exact same size as the old one. So I ordered again without installation and had it installed by a 3rd party. (They said the same thing with my LG fridge. I installed that myself). I only have 2 issues with this microwave: 1. It doesn't have +10 sec button. 2. You have to open and close the door before you can access any buttons. It should have a sensor that lights up the buttons when you tap the front.. Socal12345. This product was just as described. The blue wrapping was easy to remove and did a great job of protecting the surface. Installation went well but took some time. The vent hose was very large and had to be reduced to fit properly through the ceiling. The lights illuminate the kitchen with a warm light perfect for leaving on during the night for nightime visits to the fridge. The fan is too loud even on the lowest setting.
