If you are a stickler for details, you may want to take a pass on this one. For comparison, we also bought the Wysocki 1 with a larger ball but fabric stem for our bathroom. The light from it does disperse (vs hit the island directly on the bottom) so when you’re sitting down the light can be directly at eye level.
