Found the perfect installation product! I was looking to make an old fixture smart automated and this SkyPlug canopy kit allowed me do just that. The company has a SkyHome app that controls my light and best part was how easy it was to install the plug and canopy onto my fixture. After installing the outlet and plugging in my Eurofase fixture I realized how dirty the glass was. The lights wont be fully installed for a while yet but I am pleased with their overall desighn and condtruction. THey will hold up well to outdoor conditions. There is a swith on the junction box that will change the lighting effect as desired. Lastly - the description, and even instructions, specify a 2 7/8" hole saw cut needed for installation. THis is not a readily avaiable hole sixe to find, but on further isnpection, a hole saw of 2 5/8" is sufficient and will do the job just as good if not better providing a hole with less slop for the fixture to move within.. From the moment it arrived, I could tell this fixture was well-made. The matte black finish is sleek and modern without being too flashy, and the clear glass shade adds an elegant touch — it’s exactly what I was looking for to update my kitchen island area. Installation was straightforward for anyone familiar with basic lighting installs. The mounting hardware was all included, and the instructions were clear enough. It took me about 30 minutes to install each pendant. Once in place, the 9W integrated LED provides bright, balanced illumination without harsh glares or shadows. I especially like the up/down light distribution — it casts ambient light both upward toward the ceiling and downward where we need task lighting. It’s perfect over counters or a breakfast nook. The LED is energy-efficient and already noticeably reduced the overall brightness I used to get with our old bulbs, which is great for lowering electricity use.
