The tub is gorgeous. Make sure you use mild detergent to clean like dishwashing liquid. I used soft scrub comet and it took forever to get the lighter color film residue off. It comes in a crate and its 300 pounds so beware. I paid for the delivery service and it was no problem although the men visibly struggled to get it into my bedroom. My master is on the first floor. I couldnt imagine trying to get it up an interior stairway. Ive read some other reviews that complain of it not retaining heat. My experience is the opposite. Beautiful and functional ! This bathtub is so smooth and retains heat so well. The seat on the inside is perfect for tub seating ergonomics and is just tall enough. If all you need is to do a pedicure scrub, its just deep enough at the feet that you have the option only to soak your feet in the bottom and not get wet elsewhere. And believe it or not, it is super fast draining which i totally didnt expect. Im 59, and Im OK with my legs being bent when soaking. In fact, I find it more comfortable than straight out. Even so, you can see that the overflow is above my knees and an inch or so above my armpits. This is a heavenly soaking depth. I like having the stool (purchased separately) to get inout and if you have short legs (I dont), ***you will need one*** to get in and out of this tub. This tub was the most well packaged item I have ever received having come in a huge, well-padded wooden crate. It requires several professionals to be moved and installed. It is super heavy. I ordered the 55" and I'm 5'5 and can fully stretch out my legs so huge plus! the curve on the back also seems very ergonomic, so I think this will be a very comfortable soaker! As far as quality, this thing seem solid. I wanted solid surface for the heat retention but bonus that this doesn't have any of the creaks/give that a fiberglass/acrylic tub has. Delivery was also very smooth, and my tub looks perfect (no marks, scratches, or other blemishes I've seen in other reviews).
