I’d say it’s pretty good, not necessarily great. Seems like it “could” hold 660 lbs since it’s a very sturdy seeming MDF but it’s still JUST MDF and ONE steel support bar. Some of the cam locks were really hard to get in all the way and are now locked but not in a smooth way that gives me the peace of mind I hoped for ordering a stand specified to hold aquarium. I build quite a bit of order online furniture and this one wasn’t the smoothest. Luckily I’m just holding a 15 gallon tall aquarium on it currently and it’s more than ample strength for that. We purchased this for a new home build that had a slide in range in an island. We did not want an exhaust hood that hung down from the ceiling and this one was perfect for a flush mount in the ceiling. It was priced considerably less than other brands that had white glass finishes. There are a couple discoveries we made however. It did not turn on once the power was brought to the new build. We called Awoco and were told to check in the black box under the stainless grill, for a white connection that sometimes is disconnected. That solved the problem and the unit lit up and worked with the remote and the voice commands. Customer service was very helpful and seemed to know exactly what to look for. There is one other thing to be aware of with the voice command, occasionally it picks up what it believes to be a request for action and starts talking, asking for directions. We thought we were hearing voices until we realized it was the exhaust fan talking. Now if the TV or one of us saying something similar to "Hi Awoco" (prompt for commands) gets her talking we have a good chuckle.. Norma. Ware, MA. Sat Feb 14 2026
