Adding the legs takes less time than unboxing. UNBOXING TIP turn the box upside down and peel the layers of cardboard back. The first one took me like 15 minutes to unbox and the 2nd one was faster, once I understood how it was packaged. There are 2 layers of packaging protecting this beauty. I bought this to match the end tables that I bought last year. I loved the style and an extra bonus for me is that the iRobot can fit underneath it so I don't have to vacuum under it. The previous sofa table that I had also had a bottom shelf, and I kept some things on it that I would prefer to have hidden from sight (binoculars, doggie paw wipes, cover for sofa) since I wanted those things near our back door (where the sofa table sits.) Now I keep those things in the drawer so that they are out of sight, but still readily available for use. It was easy to put together. My husband and I are in our 70s, but we were able to put it together in just about 1.5 to 2 hours. Solid Quarter Sawn White Oak with medium-dark stain color. This also comes with drawers feature dovetail drawer fronts and metal glides enhanced with Mortise & Tenon joinery. It has plenty of storage with 2 drawers and 2 doors and shelves are removable but not adjustable.

Love this bench. It's a big upgrade from my cheap shoe shelf (see photo) and worth the cost. The wood feels solid, and screws too. Took about 20-30 min to assemble. The screws came in easily marked bags (see photo) and the directions were large and easy to follow (see photo). It did come with 2 Allen wrenches, but I needed my own blue Allen wrench to get a good grip and turn. And most impressive thing? When I flipped it over, it didn't rock at all! Level and steady. A bonus: the kids enjoyed playing with the large box. To complete the Decor, I will hang a large mirror or painting. I also included a photo of the messy shoes (family of four).. Ping Ping.
