I used this on my hard surface flooring and when it detected fur and/or debris the power picked up on it's own to make sure it was gathered in a single swoop. I enjoyed having the little light because as I pushed under the cabinets in the inset space there I was able to see what was there without having to bend down or sweep it out ahead of time. The battery was easy to charge and lasted long enough for me to do my entire first floor which consists of the kitchen, living room, dining room, flex room, bathroom, bedroom, and the halls along with using the attachment on my furniture and dining chairs. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a first-time induction range owner. I went from gas to induction and to be honest, I am loving it. I live in a very hot desert area where it gets up to 115 degrees in the summer. The old gas range which was also LG and worked very well took so long to boil water and heated up my 1500sqft home pretty good causing my AC to work overtime. This new induction range boils water fast and dramatically reduces the amount of heat doing it. All of my kitchen appliances are LG so I wanted the handle to match my refrigerator and thankfully LG still had the model with the curved handle that matched my 4-year-old refrigerator. I was debating on whether I should get the sleek all digital control model or the old-style knob model and I picked the knobs and I am very happy I did. This induction range heats up so fast and changes temperature so fast that digital controls would be a nightmare. The old school knobs are so easy to reduce and raise the temperature fast.
