This flatweave area rug sets a laid-back, relaxed foundation for your living space. It’s handmade from jute/sisal and cotton and features a natural-colored textured center banded by a black border. The medium pile height of 0.25” makes it a fairly flat surface, so it’s well-suited for areas with a lot of traffic flow – think your den or family room. We recommend rolling it out over a pad to prevent it from slipping and to add a little extra cushioning.

Great neutral rug for a coastal feel. The only reason it got four stars is is not very comfortable on your feet. Other than that, a perfect fit! Fairly nice rug, colors were not quite right for my space.. Amy. Wichita, KS. Wed Jan 29 2025

The only element of carbon footprint is transportation from the artisan to you. Artisans use natural dyes and hand-applied finishes for a one-of-a-kind art piece. The carver cuts to size, and shapes and defines the stone using only basic hand tools. Cherish this one-of-a-kind piece. The handcrafted touch of artisan skill creates variations in color, size, and design. If buying two of the same item, slight differences should be expected. The natural stone finish has unique striations and occasional colors in the soapstone, such as gray or orange.

I got this in black. It looks nice on the stone mantle. It’s made well.. Valerie. Bend, OR. Tue Sep 15 2026

Great rug, very soft and looks well made - a bit thin in case you wanted something plush, but its going over carpet for me so its perfect. Michaela. Livonia, MI. Sun Sep 27 2026

I absolutely love the rug. Think of stiff bubble wrap and that will give you an idea of the texture. It feels soft under your feet and solid so it’s not puffy and easy to vacuum. It has been 3 weeks and it sheds a tremendous amount. Be aware there are some defects in the rug. I went through 2 of them because the first one had very visible issues with the stitching. The 2nd one I decided to live with because I do love the look and feel. It is shipped flat and not rolled so getting the seams out took a steamer and some time. Overall a 5 star rug though.. Gary. Smyrna, GA. Fri Sep 25 2026
