The clean-lined frame of the Valerio Chandelier is set with solid 6-inch by 6-inch crystal cubes with small holes drilled in the center into which the bulbs are inserted. Ian Thornton, who designed the silver chandelier, says, "Lines are carved into the sides of the crystal cubes to create more refraction and enhance the sparkle of the fixture." The Valerio has a silver leaf finish that also contributes to the overall brightness of the crystal chandelier. Artist Sonia Noir was born and raised in the city of Los Angeles. She honed her basic skills using graphic programs and painting in her college art class. Sonia majored in graphic design. After completing her education, she worked with a company making manuals for a short time, where she developed art digitally. This brought forth her passion for creating digital art and developed her illustration skills. Drawing inspiration from nature, fashion, and architecture, Sonia enjoys expressing thoughts and emotions through her work. She especially focuses on color combinations. Sonia's preferred mediums are watercolor, acrylic, colored pencils, and digital editing. In her free time, she enjoys playing the classical guitar and learning different languages. Sonia relishes immersing herself in the artistic community of Los Angeles to find her next muse.

Satin Black/Contemporary Gold

The design of the Fielding Flush Mount was inspired by the engineering capabilities that its integrated LED technologies bring to the table. Tom Caldwell was looking to create a very modern profile -- one that had a hint of Hollywood glamour in its makeup. Made of wrought iron, the exterior of the shade is in a sophisticated mix with a contemporary gold finish and sugar-white rim where the metal meets the acrylic diffuser.

The Escenia 3-Light Multi-Drop Pendant has shades made of natural selenite. The ribs of the essential natural material are staggered top and bottom, which brings the shape of the shades added interest. When the lights are switched on, a beautiful glow is created by the crystal bars. The canopy of this piece is luminous in a painted silver finish. An intermingling of materials brings the Bourgeon floor lamp its sophistication. L. Bodine grew up in the pastoral lands of Kentucky, using the colors and patterns in nature as his inspiration. As the oldest of nine children, he spent most of his time taking care of his younger brothers and sisters. During his spare time, he used art as an escape from his busy life. Obsessed with the peace of mind that art gave him, he decided to pursue his career as an artist. Although he resides in Kentucky near his family, he spent most of his adult life traveling the country and soaking up all the inspirations. L. Bodine continues to travel, spending his time with nature and studying the different palettes and shapes of the world as inspiration for new art.

We were intrigued to see what shapes could be achieved with discs made from Capiz shells, which inspired the open globe-shape of the Tartufo Capiz Chandelier.
