I bought this screen door for its ability to protect my glass panel front door from any hurricane damage. It has come through both Helene and Milton like a trooper. So glad I didn't have to put up the steel panels on and prevent me from using that door during those storms. The fireplace screen is exactly what I needed and is exactly what is advertised. It is fairly lightweight so there is no danger of it hurting the little ones but it is sturdy enough to keep them from getting into the fireplace. One oddity that we found was that it came with small feet that can be attached as supports for the back side but it would keep the screen from sitting flush with the wall.
