Some assembly is required, and all tools are included.

This is a very nice and sturdy chair. The color is a true cream. The pattern is a subtle weave and rather rough, but not scratchy. As other reviewers have said, the seat is very hard, but it may soften with use. The only assembly required is to screw the legs on with the supplied screws and washers using the provided Allen wrench, so don’t waste your money paying someone to assemble it. No additional tools are needed. I don’t care for the splayed legs, but they aren’t a deal breaker. It’s not a comfortable chair for reading, but if you or a guest has a bad back and needs a firmer seat, this chair is for you. The chair is reasonably priced, but is on sale today (Memorial day)..
