The doors themselves are beautiful, but these are not for the DIY person to handle....they didn't come with pre-drilled holes for the hardware to be installed in, nor was there a track milled out of the bottom of each door so that they could slide on the floor hardware (rather than swing in and out when they move). The top and bottom horizontal portions of the doors are slightly recessed and might cause the vertical panels to catch on any quarter-round shoe moulding if you hang the doors close to the floor. Ok, it took almost 3 months for us to get this precious door delivered. And took some precise measurements and planning to put everything together! We opted out the head board, instead we drill holes on the track to line up with the studs and use the recommended spacers to bring the door forward to avoid the trim, and it looks fantastic! Absolutely Gorgeous and feels very rich! Glass is NOT completely see-thru so you get great light but can't see clearly straight through which is totally what we wanted. Only issue is there is no way to latch the doors closed or even get them to stay closed and nothing in the middle to attach anything to - when the doors are open you have the entire opening, which is pretty, but there is no way to keep them closed - so we will have to buy something to latch them to the ceiling or floor - did not realize that from the writeup - there always needs to be a way to keep a door closed!.
