The door is not smooth across the top/bottom two inches. The vertical and horizontal pieces of material do not line up exactly, which creates two different thicknesses for the door. This causes an issue as there is a gap between the thin part of the door and the guiders that you have to install, and thus the door is wobbly then you open it. I am thoroughly impressed by these doors. They are beautiful and high quality. We have not hung them yet so I will provide an update with pictures after install. We ordered two sets of these. They are massive and heavy and arrived in what looked like a carefully constructed customized wooden crate. No damages and in impeccable condition. Our first base had a small crack in one corner, most likely due to shipping damage. Wayfair immediately replaced it and the 2nd base had stronger packaging material and came in good condition. The drain is very slightly off centered, which is how it was meant to be, but since we were replacing an older base that was centered, the hole and shower drain didn't match up. We purchase a small offset drain attachment which worked perfectly. The base is sturdy and strong and with the rings on the underside for support, it did not need any filling material.
