Love this shower system and the Steam Generator works great for our small-medium sized steam shower. Generates plenty of steam. The aroma well is just an indent on the top where the steam comes out that you can add a few drops of essential oil. It does pick it up and dissipate it into the steam, but I just want to clarify that it's not directly administering the essential oils into the steam through some sort of mechanics.
