It is a lovely painting by the artist, however the gloss on it is terrible. It looks like a third an inch of dried Vaseline on the art with grooves on it. I hate how glossy it is. It catches the light and glares back so it’s hard to see the painting. In some parts there are globs of gloss that look like they were accidentally made. It’s got streaks and lines of texture and it’s so gross and distracting from the image itself. The frame is also overboard huge and distracting from the painting. What a shame.
