I really like the design of this rug. When we rolled it out from its original packaging there were a lot of lumps and bumps that we were able to flatten by using some heavy books and a piece of plywood. The color and texture are WAY off from the photos. It is shown on the website as being a darker reddish hue with contrasting orange fringe on the ends and subtle lines stitched through it. The lines are non-existent and the color is far more brown with the fringe being the same shade as the rug itself. I have this rug in several sizes though out my house. It is fairly think and well made. The runners and small round one I have do not really shed and have held up great. This rug is beautiful!!! I love it and everyone who has seen it in my home wants to know where I purchased it. It’s great quality and soft. It does shed some when I vacuum you can tell. However, the shedding is not bad, so I am believing it will stop over time. I have had wool rugs before that the shedding was unbearable and I have had great quality wool rugs that stop shedding over time/use.
