Still waiting on the chairs for this table. The base is heavy and the wood is excellent quality. I wish the tabletop were about an inch thicker, as it is quite thin with a very thick/dense base which throws off the aesthetics a bit. I’m actually not using this as a traditional table, but as a table in my entryway, and it works beautifully for that purpose. The size is perfect—not too large or bulky—and it looks very elegant and sophisticated in the space. Assembly was also very easy and could be done by one person without any trouble. There are a couple of things worth noting. The tabletop comes in four pie-shaped sections that you put together, so there is a small gap between some of the sections. There was also a small area of damage in the center where the four pieces meet. Neither issue was significant enough for me to consider returning the table, especially since I’m using it in my entryway and will be covering the center with décor.
