We replaced an old fluorescent fixture with this LED fixture. Our house was built in 1939, but I'd date the the original fixture from the 1990s. This light is well-priced and, in turn, the "wood" does not look much like wood (photos attached). It is a cheap plastic imitation made to look like wood, and even less than the product photos suggest. I know this is a tradeoff for the price. It looks metallic (more gold than wood) when the light is on. Installation was simple enough, but please know that light is attached to the bracket upon arrival so you'll want to twist it off before installation. With our older wiring, we didn't have a green ground screw (existing wires were already grounded), so we capped the provided copper ground wire. The light it a very warm/yellow light -- not a natural/white sunny light -- and I don't know yet if this will feel like too little light. This is an upgrade from what we had -- a fluorescent light that took a few seconds to blink on to minimal visibility -- and is a good price. I still feel it's lacking, though, and that maybe it's worth spending 2x more for a fixture that feels more intentional, if that's in your budget.. Shannon. Denver, CO. Sun Jun 14 2026

This flush mount ceiling light features three clear glass cylinders on a black frame, offering a modern look and bright illumination.

This ceiling light has a simple and stylish design with a very modern feel. The black round base is stable and atmospheric, with three black lamp poles, sharp and without losing style. Transparent square lampshade surrounds the bulb, the material is translucent, which not only adds a sense of lightness to the lamp, but also effectively protects the bulb, while allowing the light to disperse softly and evenly, creating a cozy atmosphere. Built-in retro style bulb, warm yellow filament when lit, retro flavor and modern design fusion, whether used in the living room to highlight the atmosphere, or decorate the bedroom to create a warm atmosphere, can become the finishing touch to the space.

This 3-lamp black flush mount looks great in a small space or entryway. I attached photos of the fixture before installation so buyers can see the size and finish. It does not come with bulbs, so make sure you have some on hand. Once installed, it gives a clean, modern look without being too bright or bulky. Good value for the price. I forgot to mention this does not come with bulbs. It is a little hard to get the panels up to the correct position…. Denise. Adelanto, CA. Thu Dec 04 2025
