At 3000K the color temperature of these LED lights is ideal—it’s slightly yellow, so it blends well with my incandescent bulbs, and it’s better than hideous florescent lights. As the lights are dimmed, they get more yellow. The remote is very handy for turning on and dimming; there are 4 levels with individual buttons (100%, 50%, 25%, and 10%), and there also are up/down buttons for more steps in between and below 10%. So many steps for an LED light is unusual—and great. I'm not sure why, but there are also flickering/light pattern options. The power pack on the cord has two holes so that you can screw it into place, which is nice. After installation, some areas of the self-adhesive strip were sagging and needed to be pressed back. Bought it place along the baseboard of the long hallway, so I can see the floor in the dark. I keep the remote in the LR, I bought the compatible wall mounted touch pad for the end of the hallway to turn it off. Better than turning on the overhead light, and I don't have to get up, turn on light, then go back to LR or kitchen to turn off lights in those rooms.
