Baseboarders are considered child-safe due to the absence of exposed sharp edges and their ability to block access to the heating element from the top. They can also be installed in new construction applications or in situations where the original covers have been completely removed, leaving only the bare finned-tube heating element. End caps are sold separately. This style is not recommended for use with electric baseboard heaters.
