Installed in a couple of hours, but Closet Maid includes a bracket that is supposed to make installation easier. It doesn't. The adjustable shelving was perfectly easy to customize for what we had to store and if things change, so can the shelving. We had bought the add on top shelf to extend the upper shelf space but realized our closet wasn’t tall enough to accommodate it which is fine and now we have this small hidden storage spot on top. This system was easy to assemble until it came time to put up the long shelves and hanger rods. Our closet is on the smaller side so some cutting was necessary of the shelves and the rods.
