This is a fabulous table but there were some issues that could have been avoided. Firstly, the table is extremely heavy, weighing in at 80 lbs. Therefore, it's extremely sturdy. The white did look a little yellowish in places, as if it had been exposed to extreme sunlight somewhere. It's not noticeable so it's not a dealbreaker. The table was easy to put together BUT, buyer beware. The instructions were easy to follow. When I tried to put on the two base pieces, I couldn't get the screw holes to line up at all on one side. It didn't matter what I did, but they didn't line up. I called Wayfair and the sent me two replacement base pieces. Same thing happened. I called them again and I received an email saying I could get a refund or a replacement if I shipped the table back in the original packaging ("or any 108" box will do..."). I emailed them and said that I didn't have the packaging. I put it out for the recycling that morning and refused to purchase a 108" box. They emailed me back, saying they would send me a replacement table. I received the table and the same thing happened. I donated the replacement and decided I would buy some HDPE glue and live with the original table. I then received the table from the person I donated the table to. They mentioned that they had managed to screw the table together by screwing everything really loosely and pulling on the base pieces to get everything to line up. I tried it and it worked. Nowhere in the instructions did it suggest that you should do this. It would have been helpful if customer service had this information so they could have suggested it and avoided the aggravation. Only negatives, and not worth subtracting stars for, are tedious assembly and the lack of any protective material on the bottom of the legs. This was an easy build, clear instructions, and screws pre-organized by type. They recommend having 2 people, but I was able to assemble it by myself. I used an end table [with some books on top] to hold each side rail up to make assembly easy. As for lifting it to face it upright , I grabbed the side rail to lift the table just a little, slid a book under the middle to raise the bottom edge. From there it was easy to turn the table on it's side. After that, I slid the book under it again, lifted it halfway over, then slid around to the opposite side while holding on, to be able to lower it gently. You can do it! I don't have things arranged to my liking in the room yet, but this table will seat 6 people easily! It’s been a few days and so far everything is good, especially with having younger children. I would’ve gave it 5 stars but there’s 2 spots that look like cup stains but it’s spots that were missed during the woodmaterial treatment. It was simple to put together w one person but two would be better more so when it’s time to attach the legs and flip it over on the correct side. I don’t know how I did it by myself but I managed without damaging the table. Overall I’m in love and I can’t wait to host dinner with all my family being able to be seated at one table.. N. Even though it’s manufactured wood, it has a solid expensive highend feel and look! It arrived quick and really well packed. Assembly was straightforward and everything lined up well. Once assembled, the table feels sturdy and stable. The thick frame and pedestal-style base give it a substantial look while still allowing good leg room for chairs. At 86.7 inches long, the size works great for everyday dining and can comfortably seat several people when hosting. The minimalist design also makes it very versatile — it pairs nicely with many different chair styles. I used lighter wood chairs and love the contrast.
