What a beautiful, solid shelf! It was perfect for this spot in our powder bathroom. I had been looking for just the right shelf for quite awhile spent a lot of time poring through photos and reviews. I did not realize how difficult it would be to find a shelf of this size, of good quality, and to not to spend 100… I am very pleased with this purchase and would definitely recommend. The walnut color is beautiful! I bought the 24 inch wide shelf. Keep in mind, the shelf itself is pretty heavy. You’ll definitely want to use the anchors provided, or be certain you are attaching it to wall studs. I do wish it was sold as a single, since I only needed one shelf. But, I’ll be looking for another spot in our home to hang the second one! Or might resell the extra one. Tip for installation once I found the height and measured where I wanted to center it on the wall, I marked the center hole and installed that anchor and screw, but left the screw kind of loose, so I could toggle the bracket with a level, and make sure the bracket was perfectly straight before continuing. I’m somewhat handy, and was able to install it myself within 45 minutes (including deciding on a perfect spot, measuring, gathering tools, etc.). This gorgeous set of 2 shelves is handcrafted in Lancaster County, PA by our local Amish artisan partners. At 11" deep, they are perfect for your dishes. The wood is reclaimed barn rafter and has all of the characteristics that you would expect from reclaimed barn wood. Thick and sturdy with handmade raw metal brackets that wrap up around the front of the shelf. Please note that the brackets must be mounted into wall studs. Mounting hardware is included. Shelves come with set screws that go up throughout the bracket into the bottom of the shelf to eliminate any movement due to any imperfections in the reclaimed wood. Reclaimed wood is not perfect.

These shelves look really nice and I love the rustic, natural wood look. I haven’t installed them yet, so I can’t speak to how easy they are to install or how sturdy they are once mounted. Unfortunately, one of the shelves arrived with a fairly noticeable crack in the wood. It may just be part of the naturalreclaimed wood character, but it’s deeper than I expected.
