This arrived very quickly and was packaged very securely so it arrived in perfect condition. It's much heavier than I expected, but that's a good thing since you don't want this tipping over. The directions are awful, there's a youtube video that shows a guy setting up a similar gate, his is French door style but the set up is very similar so it was helpful because we were totally lost trying to figure it out. They can slip through sometimes by messing with the side pole to move it over just enough to slip through but still this is a good enough solution for us. The item arrived on time. During installation, we noticed a small dent at the bottom, but when I contacted Wayfair’s customer service, the representative offered 20% credit instead of requiring a return—absolutely amazing service. The unit came 99 pre-assembled all we needed to do was install the 2 foot brackets with two screws and follow the instructions to complete the pergola setup. We’re very impressed with both the quality and the functionality—being able to adjust the louvers separately at the top and bottom, with a full 180° open and close, is a fantastic feature.
