There are many pros about this range hood. First, it’s heavy duty - far heavier and sturdier than my previous one. Second, it’s all metal, even the filters, and includes a grease trap, which is a big bonus feature. The fan levels are great and it’s much quieter than our previous hood but definitely powerful. So far we are loving this upgrade. We did not use the vent hose it came with but bought an all metal one at our local home store for better greasefire protection. I will say the directions are somewhat lacking, however, if the person installing it knows what they’re doing, it shouldn’t be a problem. This product was just as described. The blue wrapping was easy to remove and did a great job of protecting the surface. Installation went well but took some time. The vent hose was very large and had to be reduced to fit properly through the ceiling. The lights illuminate the kitchen with a warm light perfect for leaving on during the night for nightime visits to the fridge. The fan is too loud even on the lowest setting. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with this item. The box looks like it had been opened previously and there’s two marks that could be dents. They are not in an area that would be very visible. When not in use it is flush with the stovetop which helps create a flat seamless flow on the countertop. When we have used it, it works very well. This came in an extra large box and was packed with styrofoam very well no dents or damage. This was a heavy package so I greatly appreciate the delivery person bringing it all the way for my front door. This hood range is a beautiful stainless steel and has push button touch screen an is a very high end product unfortunately I didn’t measure correctly and 36 inches was to big for my space…. The only way to mount and make it work would have been to cut or replace mycabinets and I’m definitely not doing that. Next time I’ll measure better. This was apart of a tried an true review..
