This sink is one of those things in my kitchen i like to just stand in front of and enjoy. It is deep and yet also surprisingly easy to work over. The ledge for (included) drying rack and cutting board is a big plus. We had the sink undermounted and it's probably better that way. Like any stainless steel, it can scratch. Really nice sink - we actually used it as a laundry sink and it went in great. Granite countertop was cut exactly like the pattern that was provided and I simply made the connections to the hot cold and drain and we are in business. If your installing this sink into butcherblock counters you will be modifying. After installing our 1 1/2 counters, cutting the whole exactly we then realized all the fasterner brackets were too short we had to drill 12 holes in the bottom of the counter to give them space to grab. The clips could also be stronger, probably not an issue with other counters but when you tighten them, they bite into the wood, then it tightens on a bit of an angle and very difficult to get the screw driver in there. Beautiful sink, very nice quality and very heavy duty so just a bit surprised the brackets were not as heavy duty as what we felt it should have been. But we made it work and it looks amazing. Love my new sink!! The reason why I give it 4 stars vs 5 is because of the mounting clips. Need a good amount of space to fit them in the notches (I ended up bending the latch part [not sure how else to refer to it] so that I could reach up and place it in the notch rather than having to angle it a bit to get it in the notch). Then when tightening them, the ledge needs a good amount of space granted my kitchen counters are old (plan to replace them eventually), and a prior owner really rigged alot of stuff, but it just made it challenging to get the mounting clips fastened, somewhat fastened. Based on measurements of my counter space and granite setting, I couldn’t get an apron front or an undermount. This was a great alternative. I love the workstation and accessories offerings but I bought the Ruvati Accessories Multi-function Workstation Organizer and Caddy with Soap Dispenser and Knife Block because I thought it would work great. The caddy is very rigidly straight and the sink slopes in very slightly as you get deeper. Sad to say the caddy did not fit.
