These 5mm thick outdoor mats for under slide areas in a playground are available in three sizes. They are all available in rectangular sizes of: 32” x 29” (5.5lbs), 35” x 31” – (6.5lbs), and 36” x 48” (16.2lbs). Depending on the size of the area you want covered, the three options will offer an effective layer that is easy to install or remove due to their light weight. The rubber mat for bottom of slide areas is made from materials that are UV and weather resistant. Since these rubber mats are made from reclaimed and natural rubber products, they offer the maximum protection from these elements that a rubber product can offer. Playground slide mats are made for the landing area in a commercial playground. Since the landing area of a slide is commonly subject to wear and tear, a rubber slide mat will add a coating of protection in these areas. The surface pattern (which is comprised of wide ridges and valleys) is more prone to trapping and cleaning debris and liquids from heavy foot traffic while maximizing the ease of cleaning and comfort. Wide Rib Corrugated Rubber is designed for light to medium foot traffic where traction and increased safety are needed and performs especially well in transient or temporary applications (e.g. wet aisle ways, catered parties, temporary walkways, etc...). The fabric base finish adds subsurface traction, keeping the runner's bottom surface secure to the floor. Since this product is made from virgin SBR it creates a completely watertight surface, offers moderate chemical resistance, and can be cleaned with most common household cleaners. Strong, highly caustic cleaning solutions (e.g. bleach) are not recommended. The lengthwise running corrugations inherently direct foot traffic as well as maintain a level of safety that is unmatchable by other runner products.

I ordered 2 of these for our shed. They were delivered July 26, 2025. They both made crackling sounds when walking on them, but they were good height and fit perfectly. Worked well for a little over a month (of course, just long enough to miss the return policy window). Now, one of them literally collapses when you step on it, so it’s basically unusable for getting our yard equipment into the shed. Very disappointed, especially since the item is not returnable now.
