I really like this locker stand. My kids usually just come in and throw their backpacks on the ground. Now we have a place to put backpacks and shoes and makes mornings so much easier. Very easily assembled and feels pretty sturdy. I did turn it upside down so that I can have the smaller cubby work as a shoe holder. Great sturdy book shelf for a kid’s room. This book case comes together in no time. It’s so easy to put together and the pieces are heavy duty and sturdy. Everything is labeled well and the instructions are clear. All of the shelves are the same height so some of our larger children’s books do not fit standing up but most of our books do fit so that’s a minor complaint. I plan to paint it, but the light blonde wood tone is nice if you like a more natural look. I like the size because my kids can reach the books on the top shelf. The bookshelf seems very sturdy, I would have preferred rubber wheel as I believe that would have been a bit sturdier with the weight of books, however my husband says these will be fine. This is a solid piece of wood that is striking to look at. When I received it came packaged well with a few cuts into the box but unsure if thats what contributed to the periodic defects visible after opening. Almost indicative of lack of attention and care while packaging. Several broad scratches on the top and a couple on the sides and 14 dent on the edging bottom. Drawers work well. Door is misaligned and not really adjustable. Feet are plastic screw-in and if not careful could catch on your carpet and snag out strands unless you file down the sharp corners.. Michelle.
