I live in a climate that can be 100+ most ofthe summer. I have many, many shade sails. This Royal Shade Rectangle Pro Ring Shade Sail with Installation Winch Kit is the best. The fabric is substantial and the hardware is impressive! I have not installed it it because it is still winter, lots of wind and rain. I am looking forward to getting it up in the spring. Im writing this review based on packaging and quality due to the fact that I broke my wrist. I havent been able to install it yet, but i will update this review once I can. I got this to go over a cat area Im building on my property. Im hoping it will provide shelter from the sun and rain. It seems like its good quality. We LOVE these shade sails! So useful. So strong. They blow with the wind, they keep us out of the direct sun and avoid the rain as well. We have had several over the years from Royal and have always found them to be well made. We wanted a really large one to go right over our new Wayfair arbor to help block some sun and disperse the rain so we ordered another. Success! Easily installed, everything is included!! It looks fantastic, and works perfectly. We chose brown to blend in and not be so noticeable, and it sure does look great! We can remove it so easily whenever we want. I love this canopy. It covers the entire lower part of our porch, except to the end where, if it rains, pours down on you. The canopy came with metallic wires that can be used to secure it, but the wires are too long, and there is no way to adjust them, so we ended up getting a spring that would allow for stretching when it's windy. With the prolonged winter in the mid-Atlantic, it finally got warm enough to install this. This is an extremely well-made and equipped sail. The material looks really good, and it is substantial, fairly heavy grade. The material is porous, so don't look for this to resist rain. All the hardware is provided. You don't have to go to the hardware store for anything. The ratcheting winches were easy to install and they do the job. The mounting rings on the sail and the edge wire reinforcements are solid and look like they will hold up under the stress of wind that the sail will undoubtedly need to endure. We love this so far!.
