We LOVE these shade sails! So useful. So strong. They blow with the wind, they keep us out of the direct sun and avoid the rain as well. We have had several over the years from Royal and have always found them to be well made. We wanted a really large one to go right over our new Wayfair arbor to help block some sun and disperse the rain so we ordered another. Success! Easily installed, everything is included!! It looks fantastic, and works perfectly. We chose brown to blend in and not be so noticeable, and it sure does look great! We can remove it so easily whenever we want. I live in a climate that can be 100+ most ofthe summer. I have many, many shade sails. This Royal Shade Rectangle Pro Ring Shade Sail with Installation Winch Kit is the best. The fabric is substantial and the hardware is impressive! I have not installed it it because it is still winter, lots of wind and rain. I am looking forward to getting it up in the spring. this is a replacement for an older shade. Found the eyelets to be superior in this Royal unit but have not had time to install but from inspection the stitching is the key. Perfect for the hot summer days in Coastal SC. This rectangle Royal Shade measuring 18 x 24 ft covers a large sitting space in our yard and more! We are thrilled with the ease of hanging. Mind you, we hung it out a few days to allow it to stretch out before really placing it where we wanted it. Do hang on an angle so water will run off...we imagine we will still have to push up the center to drain off if a heavy rain, but we haven't had that yet. I chose the Royal Shade Triangle Shade Sail with Hardware Kit & Rope in the 16 ft. x 16 ft. x 16 ft. size in beige, and it’s been a great addition to my outdoor space. I appreciate that it comes with the hardware needed for installation. The galvanized ropes feel sturdy, and the latches and carabiners made setup easier. The material itself looks strong and well-stitched. It provides good shade and helps keep the area underneath cooler. It doesn’t feel too hot sitting under it. I had some trouble getting it positioned just right and fully straight during installation, but once it was set up, it looks great. I haven’t experienced rain yet, so I can’t speak to water resistance. Overall, I’m happy with it and looking forward to enjoying more time outside with the added shade.. Rosa. San Diego.
