Today I got the package for silk lampshade. I have 7 orient lamps all with silk shades. The one I got early 2001 with beige scalloped shade with plastic lining until it turned brown and cracked. I have bought a small silk lampshade at lamp shop before. It was over $100 and now I am retired. I need a new shade so badly and I tried Wayfair and looked carefully with sizes. It’s affordable. Got the shade and touched carefully. The fabric is really silk! So I placed on the lamp. Sides was correct 12 inches. The bottom and top was 1.5 inches short. I got this sun shade to replace an old one that was worn out. This Sun shade seems to be made well and Im impressed with the hardware hooks and cables that look really strong for when its windy. Absolutely beautiful....it arrived quickly yesterday and when I replaced the ivory shad with this one, it changed the room and uplifted the beauty of the lamp. I was impressed by the fabric and the folds which were the perfect sizing. The tan interior was perfect & compliments the black and when the light is on, the ambiance is beautiful.
