Very nice table, perfect for temporary use until we find a more permanent table. It took longer to unpack the table than to put it together. We used the 30" pole for the right height for the chairs. No tools needed to assemble the pole has 2 notches to lock in to the top of the table. It would have been nice to have the same notches to lock for the bottom legs too. The table has a 30" round oak finish top that is supported by a sturdy metal base with four legs in a powder coated slate gray finish. Two matching stools complete the set with a metal base and wood seat. A circular footrest supports the stools and gives you a place to rest your legs. You can swivel the seat a full 360°, so you can easily turn away from the table. This set requires assembly.

We bought 4 tables. 2 arrived in perfect working order. 2 needed some "love" (liquid nails, drill to tap new holes in wood, going w/o a washer or two, and using a lot of blue threadlock). That's Wayfair though, right? We pay less, roll the dice, get some nice tables for less than what it costs to rent them. The tables are stable, and can be adjusted to be stable on less-than-flat surfaces.
