From the few uses I've had so far from it, I love it. It does get a bit confused by cliffs, so you need to use the app to mark an area around a cliff as a no- go zone. It also gets confused around my vent on the floor, and it thinks it's a cliff too. I just mark that as a no go zone and I've had no problems thus far. It navigates around chairs and under my bed like a dream. It also mops hard floors, and suctions more on carpet. It has a voice that you can change to many languages. Only on day 2 but it was easy to set up and it’s vacuumed twice so far. I’m pretty sure it’s pulling hair from the carpet that came from our dogs, and the last dog had been gone for two years! I have just had one trial run with this machine to make sure it was running smoothly and I was very impressed. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the Roomba Max 705 Combo robot and Auto Wash Dock. I love that the docking station is a neutral coloured, elegant looking wood pattern. It fits in with my electronics and furniture nicely. The robot itself is also quite nice looking. At first I was overwhelmed with the app because it's confusing, but once you have the hang of it and your robot is personalized to your liking it's pretty easy to contend with. The robot cleans quite well. It has mopping features and a vacuum and can do floors or rugs just fine. I was worried about the mop getting mouldy but the Docking station does all the work. Washing and drying, emptying out the dust and keeping things tidy for me. You have to trust the process. The robot knows what it's doing and you barely have to fuss with it in between cycles. It's also mapped out my place extremely well and knows what to avoid. My favorite thing about it is that it's helped cut down on cat hair. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Roomba Plus 405 Combo robot and AutoWash with dock is an amazing house cleaning tool. It didn’t come with a quick start guide. Since there was no QR code to scan, it was much harder to get it set up. I couldn’t get the robot to sync with my app. It took me 45 minutes to get it set up to go. Once it was synced and ready to go, the robot mapped out the floor it was on in about 90 minutes. Once it did that, I had it clean 3 rooms. It stopped a couple times to clean the mop heads and once to empty the vacuum compartment. I used plain water to clean the hardwood floors. It picked up all the crumbs in the kitchen and did a nice job mopping in neat rows. In the foyer, it mopped away footprints from someone’s dirty shoe. The vacuuming was effective—it picked up a lot of cat fur and crumbs. It didn’t get stuck in cords that I couldn’t hide. It is quiet enough that I was able to watch TV still while worked. I took a video of it cleaning, but it won’t load to this review. I like that you can edit the map to label the rooms. You can also go into the map and subdivide a room for shorter cleaning sessions. For instance, if I cooked a lot and made a mess in the kitchen, I can have the robot only clean the kitchen—not the entire first floor. Overall, this is an excellent product.. Nicoles. I usually had to go around and manually mop and vacuum some spots after it was done. This iRobot Roomba is so, so much better. It actually gets into corners and around chair legs, and it does a great job at mopping (look at that gross mop water! That’s what it got off our floors after just a couple days of normal life). I like that you can customize a lot in the app, like if I just want it to mop the bathroom and vacuum the kitchen, I can set it to do that. It also does a great job at switching between mopping and vacuuming, like when it goes between the floor and our rugs. It’s a little bit slower than my old vacuum but I think that’s because it goes over spots multiple times to make sure it got everything. And it hasn’t gotten stuck on anything yet, which was a huge inconvenience with our old vacuum. We run the Roomba at night once a week and our floors have never looked better!. Melodies. Gerber isnt as well-known a brand as some others, but when I was shopping for fixtures for a full bathroom, it was carried by a local, highly-respected plumbing supply store, and I wound up choosing them for their design.
